About The Blogger

Hi Everyone! – My name is Chris Burns. I live in San Francisco. In the past I’ve lived in Orange County, California and Harlem, New York City. My greatest dream in life is to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel.

I've been a researcher, a teacher, a terrible waiter, a street performer, and a number of less interesting things. I’ve recently graduated with a Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State. Essentially, this is accurate:

Let's be honest: Giles was a fantastic librarian.

As far as personal stuff, I love live music (Café DuNord is my favorite venue), going to museums, attending museum and gallery events (Weinstein is my favorite gallery), going to fairs and the circus, ACT Theater, Disneyland, traveling to anywhere, and sustainable coffee (I mostly buy from Porto Rico Importing.). I believe in furthering education, compassionately helping the homeless, and donating blood as often as possible. And I've been taking fencing lessons.

If you read my blog you’ll notice that I’m fond of parenthesis (see above), make bad puns with some frequency, use semi-colons often and appropriately, and that I take the Oxford Comma very seriously. You’ll also read many literary opinions and rants. I hope they help you understand whatever book I’m talking about, and that they're educational and entertaining.

Well, that’s enough about me. Go check out the reviews!
